When a company has been in business for twenty-one years, it must be doing something right. Custom Heating and Cooling in Jonesville has built its reputation by combining top-quality products with professional installation and providing caring and fast service at fair prices.
The company is locally owned by Steve and Darla Parker who have a combined 55 years of experience in their field. "It's in our blood," Darla says. "Steve and I both have been doing heating and air conditioning for so long, we can't imagine doing anything else."
In fact it was their profession that brought the two together. They had been talking on the phone long before they met. Darla was working for a heating and air conditioning distributor in Greensboro, that had Steve as a customer. When they finally me in person, they fell in love, married and now not only have a thriving business together, but a beautiful family that includes daughters, Carley and Shaina.
The company carries Rheem, Goodman, Mitsubishi, and Thermo Pride products, but Steve says, "We work on all brands, there is nothing we can't fix."
"We also do custom sheet metal work, such as chimney caps of copper, stainless steel and galvanized metal."
Steve is a genius at designing duct work that allows his customers to heat and cool their home or business as efficiently as possible.
When asked how they have managed to outlast many of their competitors, Darla replied, "We deal with people honestly and never try to sell them something they don't really need. And I believe we have just really been blessed by God."
